I guess you are interested in finding some storage shed plans? Before you choose which plan to follow, it’s important you know a few key things before you choose from many outdoor storage shed plans available.
From my own experience, well built storage shed will probably make you very proud about doing it yourself and being able to tell people you just built it. Many people just don’t believe me when I tell them!
There are some things I recommend you consider before you decide which plan to follow:
Purpose and Space
Obviously you have to think about what is the purpose of your shed. Larger one may serve multiple purposes. Be sure to fully consider everything you may use the shed to do or hold. be sure to fully consider everything you may use the shed to do or hold and make sure to write down every item and try to imagine how much space it will take. Because it can be very annoying if you choose to small storage shed plan and your new shed is full when you a put half of your items into it.
Look and position
I suggest you pick storage shed plans that match or closely resemble your own home. This keeps the designs from clashing and being unsightly. No one wants to have two entirely different designs on their property. I would also choose carefully where you want to locate your shed. I would take into the consideration: Access to your storage shed. Sunlight, south facing windows and doors bring in the most sunlight to your shed. View of the shed from your house. Do you want to see it from your house, or do you want it to blend in with the outdoors.

Welcome to Shed Plans and Shed Blueprints!
I’m Lucas Young and I’m just an average guy who enjoy gardening as a part-time hobby. If you are interested in building a shed, then you’ve come to the right place.
Once I was able to get some free time though, one of the first things I wanted to figure out was how to build a garden shed. I’ve always wanted to have one setup in my backyard so I could easily keep my garden tools organized at on place and be kept in great condition. It was a nice idea but it obviously would take a lot of work first to see my shed become a reality, because I was a complete beginner.
I have to admit my first shed project did not turn out so well. I didn’t know what I was doing. The design was very poor and the project turned out to be a mess unfortunately and caused me so much frustration I was thinking of just shelling out a thousand dollars just to have one built for me.
I searched around for some good sheds plans so I could put one together myself and once I found some I had a go at it. Thankfully I found a great shed plans blueprints to follow and I ended up building a beautiful shed that I can be very proud of!
I realized the most important part about building a shed is to find a good diy shed plans with a clear blueprint and stick to it. If you think you have to be a carpenter or an expert woodworker to build a shed then your dead wrong.
I’m going to show you exactly how I found great shed plans and shed blueprints so that you can avoid going through the frustration I did.
